Get hike-ready with our exclusive
6-week training programme
What's the saying? "By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." When hiking up an active volcano, those words have never been truer.
That's why we've created an exclusive 6-week training programme to ensure you're physically and mentally prepared for your ascent up Mount Rinjani.

The programme will provide a solo training routine for the 6 weeks preceding the hike and invitations to 6 weekly group workouts with your fellow hikers. These boot camps are designed to improve endurance and strengthen muscles.

Locations, dates, and times will be shared on our private WhatsApp group.
You will also be invited to a pre-hike briefing, where you'll learn what to expect, what to wear, and what you should pack (including nutrition recommendations).
Redefine your limits in 2024
We believe that group experiential goals are an integral part of anyone's fitness journey. Unlike traditional fitness goals, like fat loss or muscle gain, they emphasise the process and your overall well-being.

While these goals could be as simple as participating in group classes for the first time, there's something to be said for having at least one truly outrageous goal that makes people you tell immediately ask, "What's gotten into you?"

And that's why we've created this challenge. Climbing Mount Rinjani offers a rewarding and challenging experience, as well as the chance to create memories that will stay with you for years to come.

Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a first-timer, Mount Rinjani is achievable for you. Experienced mountain guides ensure a safe and enjoyable hike, while you're motivated by the support of the group. This is your opportunity to push your limits and achieve a sense of accomplishment like never before.
Frequently asked questions
What will the group size be?
The required group size is 10.
What should we pack?
This will be discussed during the pre-hike briefing, however, you should plan to pack: Suitable walking shoes, warm clothing, a change of clothes, energy supplements, sunblock, insect repellent, waterproofs, a head torch, and cold-weather accessories.
When is the cut-off date for bookings?
Booking will remain open until 20 August.

What are the accommodation arrangements?
The first night will be spent in a guesthouse 45-60 minutes drive from Mount Rinjani National Park. Rooms will be allocated on a case-by-case basis and we will try our best to meet your requirements. All other nights will be spent sleeping under the stars in deluxe tents featuring premium camping mattresses and sleeping bags.

Who is the hike suitable for?
It's recommended that participants are in good health and possess a good level of fitness. If your current condition is affected by a respiratory disease or obesity, this will hamper your ability to reach the summit. This hike is not recommended for children younger than 10 years old. Please contact us if you would like to discuss your current condition and suitability for the hike.

If you're concerned about your fitness level for Mount Rinjani, which is a more challenging hike, consider first completing Mount Kinabalu. While Kinabalu is a higher climb, the ascent is more beginner friendly.

Are boot camps mandatory for participants?
Not at all, however, if you're uncertain about your current physical condition and whether you'll be able to make the summit, we highly recommend them.

Do you offer any special discounts if we book as a group?
While we reserve the right to offer promotional discounts at any time, there are currently no plans for a group discount. However, we are very happy to discuss this on a case-by-case basis, so please contact us to find out more.
